Transfer market expert Alfredo Pedulla has taken stock of Lazio’s summer market plans, naming players like Domenico Berardi and Piotr Zielinski as their top targets.
The Biancocelesti have done well to secure a return to the Champions League, giving them more resources to work with in the upcoming transfer window. Maurizio Sarri has made it clear to president Claudio Lotito that reinforcements are needed if he wants the project to continue moving forward.
Lazio now have their sights set on a number of players who are suitable for Sarri’s 4-3-3 system and will likely make four or five key signings in the coming months.
As highlighted by Pedulla, Sarri has again suggested Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek to Lazio, but it’s clear that Milan are currently in pole position in the race to sign the Englishman.
Other top targets include Napoli’s Zielinski, Besiktas’ Gedson Fernandes and Sassuolo’s Berardi, players who would certainly add an extra layer to Sarri’s squad in the Italian capital.
