Sarri Has No Doubts About Future With Lazio

Despite months of rumours and media speculation, Maurizio Sarri reportedly has no intention of leaving Lazio at the end of this season.

The 64-year-old Italian coach is coming to the end of his second season with the Biancocelesti, one that has been filled with highs and lows but also shown the team’s clear development and progression under the tactician.

Lazio are desperately fighting for Champions League qualification and achieving this would represent another important step forward for the team, who are hoping to continue their growth under Sarri. In recent months, he has been linked with a number of jobs both in Italy and abroad, with clubs like Milan and West Ham seemingly keen to appoint him.

As reported by Il Messaggero (via LazioNews24), Sarri is happy with Lazio and has found common ground with president Claudio Lotito, who has promised to bring in four or five new players in the upcoming summer transfer window.

The 64-year-old Italian coach has already started drawing up plans for the pre-season training camp in Auronzo di Cadore, which’ll be held from 11th to 28th July.
