Exclusive: Lazio Are Keen on Chelsea’s Hudson-Odoi but No Offer Yet as They Need to Sell

Lazio are big fans of Chelsea midfielder Callum Hudson-Odoi but first must offload players before making a move.

As revealed exclusively to The Laziali by sources close to Chelsea, the Biancocelesti are seriously keen on acquiring the 20-year-old English midfielder on loan this summer, with coach Maurizio Sarri knowing him well from their time together in London.

The main issue Lazio are facing currently is the now infamous liquidity ratio, which is stopping them from making any new signings. In order to solve this issue, the Roman club need to offload some players.

President Claudio Lotito and sporting director Igli Tare are working on finding new homes for a variety of unneeded players who returned from loan spells this summer, and the sale of some of these players would unblock their incoming transfer market.

Due to all of this, Lazio have not made an offer yet for Hudson-Odoi, but may look to once they’ve dealt with their outgoing transfer market.
