Exclusive: Correa Asked Sarri & Lazio for Move to Inter, Nothing With Everton Yet

Lazio forward Joaquin Correa has told coach Maurizio Sarri that he wants a transfer to Inter, and he isn’t close to a move to Everton.

As revealed exclusively to The Laziali by sources close to Everton, the 26-year-old Argentinian forward has asked for a move to the Nerazzurri because the Milanese club are keen to sign him, and because he knows coach Simone Inzaghi very well, having fond memories of their time together in Rome.

Inter would only look to make a move for Correa should they manage to sell Lautaro Martinez, which seems difficult to pull off this summer. The Nerazzurri want around €80-90 million for the 23-year-old and do not expect any clubs to pay that amount in this transfer window.

There have also been no developments regarding a possible move to the Premier League for Correa, despite recent reports suggesting that a move to Everton may be on the cards.

Things could still change over the coming weeks, but for now, it’s not hard to imagine Correa staying in Rome next season.
